I saw these chickens on my way to work today. Sort of unusual since they were in front of a house and it wasn't a farm house.

Oh they are beautiful guys!!
We see a bunch of them in front of a house on our way into town and it isn't a farm house either!!:) We always get a laugh out of that despite the fact that we have a bunch of guineas running around our yard!!:)
There is a fairly new trend--people are keeping chickens and not just farmers. When I was in St. Augustine, Florida, there were a couple of historic homes in town that had chickens in their yard. I've also noticed "chicken guides" in book stores as well as articles. Sounds smelly and messy to me :) - gg
